Textprovider GmbH (“TP“), as the operator of www.textprovider.de (“TEXTPROVIDER“) takes data protection very seriously and strives to collect and use personal data in compliance with the respectively applicable data protection laws. A sensitive and responsible handling of personal data is an elementary aspect of a legitimate company activity.

1. We ensure that no data will be given to unauthorised third parties.

Your data is only collected and saved if you have given your permission to do so. We will inform you of changes to the provisions on data protection by e-mail. Should you not agree to the newest version, you have the opportunity to revoke your consent within two weeks. During this time, the changes will not have any effects for you.

2. Registration data

If you would like to work on projects on TEXTPROVIDER, you must be registered as a member. In connection to this, we ask you for a few personal details. The data fields that are mandatory to accept you as a member at TEXTPROVIDER are labelled in the corresponding way. The collection of the e-mail address is obligatory because communication will largely take place by this means. Furthermore, the collection of the telephone number is necessary for inquiries on short notice and to ease the processing of the orders and the communication between us and the users.

3. Use of your data

We use your personal data in order to make the selected application available to you. Furthermore, TP is authorised to use your personal data for its own marketing purposes (newsletter, vouchers, advertisements, etc.) and for the purposes of quality assurance and improvement of the offering.

Your personal data will only be saved, processed, and used by TP if you expressly consent to this. TP logs your consent for the collection and saving of the data. If the application or performance is for a limited time, TP will delete your data after the application or performance has ended. However, we reserve the right under certain circumstances, for example in cases of a legal dispute, troubleshooting, or for execution of our terms and conditions, to continue to save personal data, even if you have requested their deletion by us. Furthermore, old data is never completely deleted from our databases for legal and technical reasons; this also includes saving in “back up” systems.

4. Transfer of data to third parties / credit check

TP only uses your data itself or by affiliated companies and, with the exception of its own marketing purposes (newsletter, vouchers, advertising, etc.), only insofar as it is necessary for providing the internet offering, for carrying out the usage relationship.

Furthermore, single parts of data will be transferred to third parties insofar as this serves the execution of the orders concluded through TEXTPROVIDER. This includes transferring the contact data to such persons or companies that make individual parts or functions of the service portal, e.g. in connection with the processing of payments, available.

Some services of TEXTPROVIDER are offered in cooperation with partner companies. In order to offer these partner services, it is necessary for us to also inform these partner companies of your personal data. However, the data is solely used to carry out the respective application or performance with our partner. If data is collected and/or managed by a company other than TP, we will inform you of this.

Every employee of TP is obliged to use the information given to him solely for ordering processing.

5. Use of cookies

A cookie is an element of data that a website or web server sends to your browser in order to save an anonymous identifier on your system that recognises your pc system – but not you personally.

TEXTPROVIDER uses so-called session cookies in order to speed up the login process so that you do not have to enter your log-in data again each time you visit the homepage. Only that information which we need to determine if and with which username your pc system is registered at TEXTPOVIDER is saved in these cookies. You are free to refuse the cookies; in this case, you must enter your log-in data again at each visit.

6. Security of your data

TP makes all efforts to protect your data against unauthorised access. With the help of a system of access authorisations and technical protective measures such as ssl encoding, the greatest possible data security is ensured. The entry of your registration data, your contact data, your profile data, and all data for making contact with other users occurs at TEXTPROVIDER only after switching to a specially secured ssl connection.

7. Right of objection

Pursuant to section 4 subsection 3 of the German Tele Data Services Data Protection Act (Teledienstedatenschutzgesetz, TDDSG), you can revoke in writing or electronically your consent to the saving of your personal data at any time. Furthermore, you can revoke your consent to the collection and saving by TP of your additional voluntary information at any time. You can find the contact information in the imprint.

In case of revocation or your consent in regard to the saving and processing of your data, TP can no longer make it possible for you to participate in orders from TEXTPROVIDER; the information about news, updates, and interesting offers can also no longer be sent.

You also have the opportunity to cancel the newsletter and advertising e-mails separately. To do so, use either the link at the end of the newsletter or advertising e-mail, or send us an e-mail. The information about news, updates, and interesting offers will not longer be sent. However, you can continue to enter in orders and select offers and orders at TEXTPROVIDER.
